About the event
34 years strong. A no-pressure, run-your-own-race endurance event held under the stars at the Toogoolawah Showgrounds. All proceeds go to Community Friends. It’s not an AURA event. It’s a fun event. Everyone is welcome no matter your pace or size — come along, bring your friends and family. It is a safe place.
The rules (there are very few)
Run your own race. Lap the track as many times as you like. Walk if you need to. There is no minimum pace requirement and no cut-off enforcement — Geoff just asks you to be honest with your lap count. Bring your own water bottle. No cups are provided on course — this is a grassroots event and we’re keeping it that way. Headlamps or reflective gear are required after dark. Hi-vis vests are recommended. Safety first — Geoff still wants you to finish.
Location
Toogoolawah Showgrounds Toogoolawah, QLD — about 90 minutes west of Brisbane in the Somerset Region. Parking on-site. The course is a loop around the showground track. Check-in opens at 5 PM. Race briefing at 5:45 PM. Start gun at 6 PM sharp.
